Standards and selection
Choose the job first: protect the tire on abrasive sites, gain skidder traction with a ring or studded pattern, or run a traction belt for heavy forestry flotation. Then open that line and send tire size, type or model, and quantity.
- Material and treatment
- Common material is alloy steel. Chains are heat treated or dip coated. Packing is wooden case. OEM and custom sizes are available. Economy and Standard ring skidder chain can be supplied in carbon steel on request.
- Tag chain sizes
- Common tag chain sizes are 9/16 in (14 mm), 5/8 in (16 mm), and 3/4 in (19 mm). Other sizes are available on custom order. Send tire size for the best fit.
- Applications
- Tire protection for mining, civil construction, underground, and slag. Forestry traction for skidders, harvesters, and related machines. Traction belt chain for heavy-load forestry vehicles.
