Round link chain

Round link chain from Maxplus covers four lines: alloy lifting chain, chain slings, mining chain, and other round link chain. Lifting chain is Grade 80 short-link to EN 818-2. Mining chain follows the DIN 22252 pattern. Other round link chain includes DIN 763 and DIN 764. Links are welded and heat-treated from graded steel wire.

Standards and selection

Choose lifting chain, a chain sling, mining chain, or DIN 763 / DIN 764, then grade and size. Sling assemblies and mining sizes are confirmed on the inquiry.

EN 818-2: Grade 80 and Grade 100 (and Grade 120) alloy steel of the Mn-Ni-Cr-Mo type, heat treated, manufactured to EN 818-2 for overhead lifting and chain slings.
Proof and MBL: Proof tested to 2.5 times the working load limit. Minimum breaking load 4 times the working load limit. Design factor 4 to 1.
DIN 22252: Mining round link chain to the DIN 22252 pattern for mine conveyors and scraper systems.
DIN 763 / DIN 764: DIN 763 long-link and DIN 764 link chain for handling and securing. DIN 763 work load is printed in kg. DIN 764 proof load is printed in kg; breaking load is kN.
