Fittings that complete a Maxplus stud-link or open-link cable. Kenter shackles join the shots. End and joining shackles close the ends. Swivels let the cable turn. How a cable is made up
A common stud-link cable runs end shackle, swivel, enlarged and end links, then the shot, with a Kenter shackle between shots. Other joining forms are available. Quote the diameter and grade so the fittings match that chain.

Standards and selection
- Duty
- These fittings belong with stud-link and open-link chain. Geometry follows the catalogue drawings, expressed as multiples of chain diameter d.
- Grades
- Quoted with U2 or U3 chain (CM490 / CM690) to the diameter you specify. Proof load and weight are confirmed against that cable.
- Class societies
- Named society certificates are issued on the order. Confirm the society with diameter, grade, and quantity.
- US-type G209 / G210
- Bow and dee lifting shackles live in the Rigging family. They are not Kenter cable fittings.
